Three main suspects ordered to give DNA samples

Joran van der Sloot and the two Kalpoe brothers, Deepak and Satish were ordered to provide DNA samples for the court. The samples came from the three boys' saliva. It is not confirmed that they have provided blood samples as well. The request came just a few days after the duct tape and hair were found.

What the hell is going on in this botched investigation? Why did it take so long for the "investigators" (if you can call them that) to collect such evidence? Are there new speculations as to the three suspects' involvement in her disappearance? Knowing how swiftly Aruban authorities move, we will probably get the results from the evidence collected this past week in 2007.
